More “Crowdsourcing” the English Language

As discussed in a previous post, the trend among dictionary publishers seems to be inclusion by committee; that is, adding words to the dictionary because they’re popular. CollinsDictionary.com has taken this to its logical conclusion, literally “crowdsourcing” words to be included in its online dictionary. Of the eighty-six new inclusions, here are some of what I consider the most egregious:

To the staff at CollinsDictionary.com, I just want to say, “WTF, yo? This is totes uncool!”
